Basketball was invented in 1891 by a Canadian named James Naismith | |  Oklahoma Bullets Youth Basketball is an organization dedicated to the future of kids. We emphasize athletics, educational improvement and spiritual growth. We strive to teach players the "Team" is more important than the individual. We want to develop the whole player, positive player attitudes, advance fundamental skills and team play concepts necessary to play in a high school program and preparing them for the next level. This organization demands a high degree of ethical conduct by all its coaches, players, volunteers, and parents so that it provides a good example for the community, the opponents, and its participants, thus positively affecting their growth and adulthood. The demand of the young men is NEVER perfection but ALWAYS their best! We hope they will never give up and learn from their successes, as well as their mistakes. And, of course, we want the basketball experience to be fun!
